Wow, I'm pretty pleased with how my re-writing of the Tenrec Saga is going. I started this particular fan-fiction roughly two years ago when I was a Sophomore in college. My writing skills were laughable then (I'm a pretty bad self critic) and the story was known as The Tenrec Warriors when I first wrote about 3 or 4 chapters. The dialogue was stock and it wasn't very good in my opinion. However I was happy with some of the characters I created, even though they are all Hedgehogs from the Sonic Universe (Sonic SatAM/Archie) they each have different abilities and their own personalities. I wanted it to start off as a prequel and take place during the events of the Great War, eventually leading up to Robotnik's takeover and later having Dorian possibly meeting Sonic and the other freedom fighters. So far my re-write is really good in my eyes. As a treat I'd like to reveal some of the characters I have planned for the following chapters. Characters revealed or mentioned so far include.

Dorian- Main character, although the story will not focus on him directly

Lord Auritis- A troubled Lord of the Tenrec who helps to teach the new members on how to look after each other and do the right thing.

Lord Mesech- Mentioned, he will be a shady and evil Lord ofthe Tenrecs. He will most likely appear in the next few chapters

Lord Tandraka- Stoic, with little compassion, this Lord seems neutral on the service but is actually dark to the core. He will also appear soon.

Erina- I plan on having the next chapter focus on the events that bring her to Megido, her personality will change somewhat as her story will be a little tragic this time around.

Master Atelerix- The leader of the Tenrec Lords. This person will appear old, even though he is ageless. His presence will be so strong that the energy resonating off him will cause some anxiety in Dorian and the others.

Ashura- A strange youth who appears very open and friendly, but exhibits a troubled personality at other times. He will play a crucial role in later chapters

Kisa and Sehia- Two young female Tenrecs, I haven't decided how I will implement them in the story just yet.

Inhert- A calculated and intelligent Tenrec who often gets into trouble with the others because of his personal beliefs. He believes in justice and wants to make sure there is no corruption in Megido. Needless to say he will have his work cut out for him.

Karthathan and Diago- Two Tenrecs who were soldiers in the Great War. They have abhorable personalities and are mean spirited. They clash with Inhert in beliefs and are often seen taunting him or picking fights. I will explore their pasts more fully as well.

Lord Althizor- A scribe like Lord, he is older and wiser, however I haven't figured out how to implement him fully yet. Stay tuned.

I hope you enjoy this little character preview. I hope I may be able to draw some of these guys later on. I haven't drawn in a long time though so I don't feel I could do them justice right now.
